Living Independently

We offer a range of support to help our tenants live independently in their own homes for as long as they wish to do so.

Aids and Adaptations

We can provide equipment to help older and disabled tenants manage in their homes, ranging from minor adaptations such as a grab rail or key safe, to bigger changes such as walk in showers and ramps.

For major adaptations, you will need to be assessed by an Occupational Therapist (OT).

For more information, please call our Equipment & Adaptations Officer on 0800 169 5454 or contact Care & Repair Worcestershire by emailing crw@fortisliving.com or call 01684 579.

Telecare pendant alarms (Lifelines)

If you live in one of our bungalows or flats which have been designated for older or vulnerable people, the property will be equipped with an alarm which you pay a service charge for. This alarm will allow you to call for assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We offer extra assistive technology such as sensors and falls detectors which may help you to remain independent in your home. For further details please see Worcestershire Telecare’s website www.worcstelecare.org or call 0345 130 1469.
