What you can expect from us – our service standards
- We will assess your application within 10 working days of receipt
- We will monitor your rent and service charges and inform you within 10 days if you are in arrears

We have a range of homes which are available through our shared ownership scheme.
Shared ownership gives you the opportunity to purchase a share in a property.
You pay a mortgage on the share you own in most cases, and pay rent on the remaining share.
Because you only need a mortgage for the share you are purchasing, the amount of money required for a deposit is a lot lower when compared to the amount that would be required when purchasing outright.
You can then increase your share in the property over time until you own it outright – this is known as 'staircasing'
To help you through the process of home ownership, we will make sure that meet the eligibility criteria and undertake an affordability assessment to ensure you can afford the ongoing costs of your home.
We’ll explain each step of the purchase, keep you informed of the progress and make sure that we adhere to timescales set out for completion of legal documentation.
When you complete your sale, we’ll provide you with a Homeowners Information pack and instruction manuals for any appliances included in the sale.
For shared owners, we’ll guide you through the process of staircasing – buying further shares in your home.
