The question you are asked will depend on the debit card you use as different banks have different requirements.
Please enter the amount you wish to pay, using the star (*) button to separate pounds and pence.
For example if you wanted to pay £10.50 you would press the following buttons on your phone 10*50
You will then get a confirmation message
You entered “x” pounds and “x” pence, if this is correct press star (*) if not press hash (#)
Please hold for a few seconds while this transaction is authorised.

You need to make a note of this number in case you need to query your payment.
