- Neighbourhood wardens have been working with Wyre Forest youngsters to try and stamp out anti-social behaviour.
- Delighted youngsters at a Stourport school were jumping for joy when they were presented with a laptop for their work on an anti-social behaviour project.
- The Community Housing Group hosted two "tea and talk" events to bring children and older residents together to share their experiences of growing up in Wyre Forest.
- Mark Garnier MP was welcomed back to Wyre Forest by residents and partners in one of his first tasks as MP to support the opening of a new play area at Woodbury Road, Kidderminster.

- Tenant Representative, Stan Mumford attended a meeting at Hornbeam House he noticed some of the residents knitting and came up with an idea. He made enquiries at Worcester Royal Hospital to see if the premature babies unit needed any knitted garments made.
- In August 2008, children from the Habberley neighbourhood celebrated the opening of their new play area which was the result of a long campaign by the Habberley Tenant Consultative Committee.
- We held the third Community Stars Awards, which recognise Tenant Representatives who have made an important contribution to resident involvement, at the Company’s Annual General Meeting in September.
- Tenant Consultative Committees (TCCs) have been busy over the past few months with activities and events designed to support their neighbourhood and improve community relations.
- The Community Housing Group has celebrated the achievement of a new Government standard, Customer Services Excellence award (CSE).
- The Community Housing Group says it is providing a valuable lifeline to Wyre Forest residents in the cold weather.
