Get Involved

We put customers at the heart of our business and we value their involvement and opinions. We also understand that not everyone can go to meetings because of other commitments and so we have a range of ways to be involved and tell us what you think.

I am interested, but I work full time – I haven’t got the time to go to all those meetings
Although committees only come together four times a year, there are lots of other ways to be involved without having to attend a meeting. You can choose how much or how little time you want to spend. Have a look at our involvement chart for ideas..

I am interested, but I have a young family and I don’t have a lot of spare time
We know how busy family life can be but the opinions and views of families are really important to us for planning our future homes and services. We have designed all of our survey forms to be as simple as possible so that you can fill them in quickly and easily– you can even answer questions by email or phone if you prefer. And don’t forget to ask the children what they think!

I have lots of ideas but my circumstances mean I haven’t got much spare time
We always want to hear your ideas and can find a way to fit in with the time you have available and your personal circumstances. Please contact us - and let’s see what we can do to help.

I have the time and the ideas but I’ve never been involved in a committee before
When you choose to get involved in one of our committees or customer panels, we will provide training and support to help you feel comfortable and understand what is required of you. You will not be left on your own – we can introduce you to an existing committee member who will be happy to help for as long as you need them.
