SMS Text Messaging
We have recently updated some of our systems which means we can offer our customers another way in which to contact us by using text messaging.
To start with we are making three services available:-
Obtain a rent balance
Log a repair
Log a comment, compliment or complaint
Rent Balance - Obtain your current balance by texting balance followed your tenancy reference number (which can be found on a recent statement or letter from us) to 07950 643 643. You will then receive a response by text message providing your current balance (including any arrears) as at midnight that day. This service is available 24 hours per day.
Log a Repair – To log a repair for your property simply send a text message starting with repair followed by details of the fault to 07950 643 643. Your details will automatically be sent through to our Repairs Hotline operators who, if required, will call you back to confirm your details and arrange the repair. Messages sent outside of normal hotline hours will be processed on the next working day. Emergency out-of-hours repairs should still be logged via the normal telephone service.
Log a Comment / Compliment / Complaint - Should you wish to provide feedback on our services you can now do so by sending a text message beginning with feedback then followed by your comments to 07950 643 643. Your message will be sent through to a Customer advisor who, if required, will contact you to further discuss your comments. Messages sent outside of normal working hours will be processed on the next working day.
The Community Housing Group is working to provide further services through text messaging, such as repair appointment reminders or reporting cases of anti social behaviour. As new services become available we will publicise them to you through Better Streets Ahead, this website, at our area offices or via text message (if you have registered for SMS messages).
