The Community Housing Group Limited is a company limited by guarantee, registered with Companies House and incorporate on 28th February 2003. The organisation is non-profit making and registered with the Housing Corporation.
The Parent does not own property but is responsible for overseeing Group strategy and direction and providing a wide range of support services to the subsidiaries.
Wyre Forest Community Housing came into being on 27th March 2000 following the large scale voluntary transfer of the housing stock from Wyre Forest District Council
WFCH is a company limited by guarantee, registered with Companies House and the Housing Corporation and affiliated to the National Housing Federation. It is the founding member of the group and owns and manages just under 6,000 properties, garages, commercial shops and Community Centres.
Since its inception in March 2000, WFCH has achieved a range of external accreditations for its achievements in the provision of homes and services and will continue the pursuit of excellence throughout the lifetime of this plan.
Through an ambitious development and regeneration programme, continued investment in its stock and commitment to service expansion, the Company will seek to build on its achievements to date.
Wyre Forest Sheltered Housing Limited was launched in April 2005 to receive 316 Sheltered Housing units from Wyre Forest Community Housing. WFSH is an Industrial and Provident Society with charitable status. It is registered with the Housing Corporation and affiliated to the National Housing Federation.
The Company aims to provide affordable, quality homes and services for older and vulnerable people.
Incorporated on 28th July 2004 WFLC is a development company limited by shares.
Each Company has a Board of Management which is made up of tenants (selected from our Area Committees) Councillors representing Wyre Forest District Council and Independent members with the skills and experience necessary to run the Company.

The Company has four directorates
The formal consultation document issued to tenants prior to the transfer outlined our key aims as a Local Housing Company. We have now revisited these aims and have incorporated them into a Corporate Plan.
In brief the Corporate Plan sets out our purpose as a local housing company:- “to develop, provide and manage high quality affordable housing in Wyre Forest and the surrounding area for its present and future customers.” and in addition identifies how we intend to move forward and develop.
To this end we have defined our VISION and MISSION STATEMENT as: -

Within the framework of an organisational culture focused on service excellence and customer involvement, we will develop a range of partnerships to ensure the delivery of sustainable, affordable homes in a safe environment for the local community.
